Unity Christian Standouts
Willie Wilson (2027 MLB)
The rising Sophomore LB had an outstanding day in the metrics. He finished 1st on the team in the laser 40 yard dash (4.68), 2nd in the Broad Jump (8’9) and 3rd in the 3-Cone (4.88).
The 5’11 155 multisport athlete averaged over 10 TT per game last season, recording 14 in the State Title game. He was named to the GAPPS All State team in baseball this Spring.
Isaiah Giddens (2027 RB/WR/DB)
This athlete can scoot. He ran a team best 4.65 in the 40 and had an impressive 4.70 shuttle time that puts him in the Top 10% among the 165 players we have tested.
The rising Soph did a little of everything on offense for the Lions last season. He can run, throw and catch. He had a clutch INT in last season’s State Title game. A track standout for Unity, finishing in the Top 10 in the State in the 200m and 400m events.
Brady King (2028 SB/DB)
King put up impressive metrics for a rising freshman. He was 3rd in the 40 (4.88). He recorded an 8’3 broad jump and a 4.82 3-Cone, both Top 5 scores on the team.
Multisport athlete for the Lions that you can tell spends quality time in the weight room. Impressive HUDL film. Will be a big contributor this Fall.
Gentry Allen (2028 QB)
Another rising Freshman player for the Lions that looks the part. Tall and lean and put up and impressive 9’0 broad jump on the day. This multisport kid will help the Lions on the football field and the hardwood in ‘24.
Evan Whiteside (2025 QB/LB)
Not much you can’t say about this guy. A State Championship QB, 1st Team All State and All Floyd Co as a Junior. Coaches comments….” plays QB like a LB but throws the ball with great touch. Takes coaching and takes care of his teammates”
He ran the 2nd fastest 40 on the day (4.84) but what caught my attention was his leadership ability on the field. Came to every station in a positive manner and was encouraging to his teammates. Good traits to have for your signal caller.
Other Notables:
Elliot Whiteside (2026 NG/C)
The big guy put up good numbers for a 260 pound OL/DL. He ran a 5.30 40 which is one of the best time overall for the 230+ guys.
Tyler Ford (2027 RB/LB)
Another young multisport Lion with good size and numbers.
Blake Hall (2027 LB)
The rising soph LB was in the Top 8 all the metric events. “…tough, throwback kid that loves his team and is willing to do whatever it takes to help the Lions win.”
