FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — A Calhoun man is facing nearly 100 felony charges after authorities uncovered a large cache of drugs, firearms, and stolen property during coordinated searches in northwest Georgia.
Investigators with the Rome Police Department and the Floyd County Police Department arrested 46-year-old Terrance Lee Culberson following searches at properties along Thomas Bluff Road and Fulton Road.
According to officials, the searches yielded a significant amount of contraband. Authorities reported seizing more than 40 firearms, including eight that had been reported stolen, as well as a sawed-off shotgun. Investigators also recovered an explosive blasting cap during the operation.
In addition to the weapons, officers discovered a large quantity of illegal drugs. The seizure included more than 1,500 grams of methamphetamine, along with fentanyl, ecstasy, marijuana, and vials of testosterone, authorities said.
Police also reported recovering several stolen items, including two vehicles, a golf cart, and a skid steer.
Culberson, who authorities say has a prior criminal history, is facing a lengthy list of charges. These include drug trafficking, possession of explosive devices, and 45 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He is currently being held at the Floyd County Jail.
Officials have not released additional details about the investigation, and the case remains ongoing.
