Rome Wolves Show Out At Georgia Elite Classic

Rome QB Reece Fountain, Rome DE Justin “JT” Terrell, Rome OL Jarvis Adams, and Rome DB Joe Wilkinson all represented the Wolves for the Junior squads. For the seniors were Rome LB Grant Bullard, and Rome DE Tyson “Pun” Brown Jr.

 

Each one of these guys stood out and represented their respective school very well. Could it have had something to do with being at their home field? Possibly, but it’s really neat to see a state wide all-star game being played at your home field. Those guys did not disappoint with Reece Fountain winning MVP for the Junior game passing well over 100 yards with many college like thrown balls.

 

Grant Bullard for the seniors led the entire senior group with tackles in the game while Tyson Brown Jr was top 3 in tackles right near his teammates Bullard.

 

It seems everyone for the Wolves stood out against some of the states best talents. Grant Bullard and Tyson Brown will be looking forward to landing on someone’s campus for the next level to showcase their talents.

 

While those guys move on, Rome will need to fill the roles of Bullard, and Brown Jr. Although that won’t be easy, Rome does have a ton of talent stepping in next season.

 

Players who played in the Georgia Elite Classic game for Rome that are returning to the field for the Wolves next season will be Joe Wilkinson, Reece Fountain, Justin Terrell, and Jarvis Adams. Obviously these guys are huge pieces to the Rome program and they look to take it a step further next year after making it all the way to the semi-finals this year.

 

Many local talents around Rome played in the Georgia Elite Classic game alongside of the Rome Wolves players. Of course you had state wide players from all over as well. The event was once again a success.

 

Rome faithful are certainly excited for next season already, Rome players are as well.

 

The season will be around before you know it, starting with the Corky Kell coming back to Barron Stadium in Rome, Georgia.

 

Rome will take on a very talented Cass team to open the season.
