FLOYD COUNTY, Ga.- Floyd County Public Works will close Ervin Coker Drive beginning Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. through Wednesday, Oct. to replace a failed cross drain.
Work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. The closing will be at the Ervin Coker Drive and Plainville Road intersection, but will not affect Plainville Road. Citizens are encouraged to use caution due to the use of heavy equipment and large trucks in the area. To navigate around the construction zone, traffic should detour using Plainville Road, GA Highway 53, GA Highway 140, and Ervin Coker Road.
